I found that translations performed by software are the funniest thing experimented in all my life in area of foreign languages. Softwares are machines, Software don't have a brain (no they don't), so don't expect them to give you an accurate translation or a something that makes sense. Translations performed by machines are fine if you need for yourself an overall about what the text is saying, but please don't use them as a reliable source.

I came accross some websites that use online translators (I can tell). If you own an e-business and you use an online translator instead of hiring a professional translator, I don't think that your vistors would take your business seriously.

If you speak another language, you can test the accuracy of the online translators by going to a professional website published in another foreign language (for example Yahoo France homepage ... you don't have to know French), then take a portion of a text and perform a translation with an online translation into your native language ... the result is funny, isn't it?

The online translator may help you to figure out for yourself what the text is saying, but you can't use it as a reliable source for translations.
