Regarding german language rules ...?
hallo wie geht's ? i have a brief question .... seeing as i started learning german a powerfull language D , i d like to know something what are the grammar rules for formulating a sentence and the rules for an interrogation ? i must state that english isnt my native tongue either. when i learned english, my teacher so sad there are so few as good as she was taught me the rules of english i.e. adjective before the noun, how to use the ,,do you'', the modal verbs, when to use ,,may'' or ,,can'' and how to position them in questions ... and also how to formulate a question ? i.e. what comes first when formulating a question ? verb whom i m asking action objects determined by action ? i.e. Sind Sie mit dem Hotel zufrieden ? and the english is ... Are you satisfied with the hotel ? NOTICE the inversion of ,,satisfied'' in german in regards to its place as oppose to english ... CONCLUSION to cut a long story short, can anyone please provide me a link with a nice, CLEAR and EASY to understand, explaining page with examples in regards to the grammar rules when it comes to formulating questions which comes first and how and sentences ? thanks Vielen Danke

Help with german language!?
ok so here what i need help when you are greeting some one in german there are different ways to say " you" in german so here's part of my german book and this is what it says You or you?One of the other strange things about German is that you have a choice about whether you are going to address another person respectfully or familiarly e.g. informally . Here are all the different words for you used in German Let s have a look at them du casual, you used when addressing someone familiar, like a friend or family member, children and anyone who has offered you the du ihr casual, e.g., you guys used when addressing more than one person in a casual way Sie formal, you or you all used when addressing someone older, superior or someone you don t know. Can be used when addressing just one single person or a whole bunch of people. Here is the last one Inane . The question, How are you? changes according to which you you wish to use. If you re asking someone how he or she is, you ll choose between one of the following. Wie get s? How are you? Informal, used among friendsWie get es Inane? How are you? Formal, used with elders, superiors, or people you don t know. You can use this question when addressing a single person as well as a whole group. Now, that s not too hard, is it? The first question is the one used in the conversation above between Nick and Il. Since we re friends, we use the informal mode of address. If, however, I was addressing someone I d never met before or someone older than me, I would have said, ok so i get that you use wei get es inane when addressing to some that you never met or some older than you.So the other " you" that are left. Those it makes sence to say wei geht es du?or wei geht es ihr? and wei geht es sie?please help me understand this 10 points for best answer thanks
